This session follows the same methodology than the previous one.
First of all, the teacher introduces through the video the character of the session and what does he need from the students. The character of the session is William Shakespeare, that comes from the Modern history. His question is: How are they organized? (making reference to the society of the specific period) The students will have to answer the question in accordance to the period of their group. Then, the teacher asks the students how they can answer the question, so that she introduces vocabulary and expressions that can be useful to do the task. She writes them on the blackboard. |
Afterwards, the students are placed in groups and they search for the information needed, write the question and its answer and they decorate the cardboard with the materials provided.
Moreover, the students change roles automatically as the teacher gives them the role card with the roles changed. The teacher reminds them that in this session they will have to finish the cardboard. This means that after answering to this last question, the groups who have incomplete answers of the other questions will have to complete them. Some time of the session will be dedicated to finish the cardboard (this includes answering the questions and decorating it). After finishing the cardboards, she tells them that due to their help the characters have been able to return to their period. She congratulates them. At the end of the session the teacher gives an attitudinal self-assessment rubric to each student. They have to complete and give it to the instructor. |
