In this session, the presentations of each period are implemented. The groups do the presentations following the order of antiquity of the periods. Each group comes out with their cardboard completed
and each member reads the question and the answer that has been assigned to his or her. The presentation is recorded by the teacher. During the presentation, the teacher interrupts to ask questions to the experts of the period, about the key contents of each period and the difficult concepts. This way, the concepts are clarified for the pupils that have not worked the topic and the instructor makes sure that the experts of the period have internalized the knowledge of their period. She also facilitates the students’ work when studying the other periods. She also reminds them that they have to listen very carefully because after the presentation a kahoot will be done. They will have to compete between groups and the questions will be about all the periods. |
After the presentations, the teacher will tell them that in the following session they are going to do a test about the periods of history.
Then, the teacher will give a scheme to each student with the content they will have to study for the test. She also will give them a vocabulary list in order to help them study for the exam. This list will also include brief definitions in Catalan of some difficult concepts such as the French Revolution. They only have to study the scheme but it is very important that they understand all the concepts that appear in the scheme. That is why a vocabulary list is given to them. After this, a kahoot about the periods of history will be put into practice. Each group will have a tablet and all groups will compete between them. |
